Scamp loving his new Outward Hound Tent

Scamp is enjoying his new tent! Scamp's mom, Lauren, wanted to get a tent for her little fluff ball so he and her mom could enjoy the outdoors together. Lauren came to pick up Scamp's tent last week so we decided to set it up in the store to see what Scamp thought. Well as you can see from the picture to the left Scamp loved his new hide out. The tent is great for the beach, a picnic, or even just in the yard.

Bella's 2nd Birthday!

Bella is a cutie Boston Terrier that is obsessed with tennis balls! When Bella's birthday came around her mom thought the perfect cake for Miss Bella would be the ever so popular tennis ball cake. Bella had her 2nd birthday party at Camp Marlin see the picture to the left of her getting ready for her party!

A New Way To Travel With Your Pet!

Many of us think of our pets as part of the family and since they are part of the family we like them to travel with us. Well this summer their is a new way to travel with your pets. Pet Airways is the first pet only airline, where your pet can fly in the comfort of the cabin no matter what size your pet is. How it works is that you drop off your pet at Pet Airways Pet lounge. Then your pet is allowed a potty break before boarding the plane. During the flight a flight attendant checks on your beloved pet every 15 minutes to make sure everything fine. After the flight has landed the pets will then be available to be picked up by its family at the pet lounge. Flights range from $149 to $299. Right now they only travel between 5 cities: New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, Denver, and Los Angeles. They hope to expand to 25 more cities by two years.
Since Gainesville, FL is not near any of the 5 locations that Pet Airways is flying out of I figured I would give you another alternative if you plan on flying with your pet. Air Tran is the least expensive flight for your pet, $69 each way, where you pet can fly in the cabin. They have flights out of Jacksonville, Orlando, and Tampa.
Have fun traveling with your pets this summer, either in a car or plane. Bringing your pet along with your family adds some adventure to your vacation.
